 GIVE US THE BALLOT: The Fight for 2016. On the 50th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act, the continuing battle over the right to vote still helps define the US electoral system. Voting rights and race, more broadly, will provide a critical backdrop to Election 2016 as well as the enormous power of money to influence elections.
