We have to reclaim who we are, and turn the noise off. When we are unapologetic in our blackness, we Rise. We cannot continue to cater to people who will always mischaracterize, misinform and who will never evolve. All of today's events have prepared us for such a moment as this.

Hi Joy, first off, I want to say that I am sorry that you were fired! But now, you have an opportunity to flourish even more than you already have! I have the same disability as does the journalist who trump mocked. In that vein, I’d like to see if you’d consider interviewing me on the anniversary of when that happened?

I could not agree more.. We need to organize and we need to rise. I’m ready, I’m a full-time mom and I am ready to make resistance my full-time job.
